The morning began with a walk on Santa Fe Island at 7.30. The beach was busy and noisy with Sea Lions basking in the early morning sun

During this walk we came across numerous Santa Fe Iguanas – do you notice the differences with the South Plaza Iguanas we saw yesterday?

After our return to the boat we went around the island to snorkel. The fish were not only beautiful in their colours but also very numerous. The water was really warm and clear.
The yacht then sailed for San Cristóbal Island where we went to a Reserve where the Government are trying to rebuild the tortoise population for each of the Island as there are differences in their evolution depending on the conditions and needs of a particular Island. This is a picture of a 4 year old tortoise

Tomorrow we are staying on San Cristóbal Island seeing parts of the North coast.
