We started off the day trying to find the entrance to the Marienberg Fortress. Ironical really as their enemies probably had the same problem!!!
Once found the views were fantastic
&
We then proceeded to the Residence Palace in the middle of town. A world heritage site constructed in 1744 for the then Prince Bishop Johann Von Schönbrunn.
Not only is the house lovely but also the extensive gardens including a massive red rose garden at the back
We then wandered around the town which had a multitude of churches.
Back to the RV for an afternoon chill before a long journey tomorrow.
