Well travelling days can be a real pain. We couldn’t get into Cologne because of a Lego Convention !! so ended up in Ghent some 250km from Cologne and 580km from Wurzburg.
On top of the long drive it got even longer as there were two accidents on the Ring road around Brussels which ended up with huge tailbacks and an extra two hours of travelling.
The sum total of this is that for the first day of our trip there are no photos but we did arrive in time for a G and T. Well deserved too……….
More photos tomorrow as we go and explore Ghent.
Salzburg and Vienna look beautiful and definitely a place to visit, love the Opera house so ornate. Everywhere you have been look amazing, have a great time in Ghent. Love Elaine xx
