A very uneventful drive to Salzburg was surpassed by the wonderful scenery even from the motorway of mountains and lush valleys.
We arrived at the campsite to the North of Salzburg but within easy biking distance along the usual cycleways. This one followed the river up to the centre of old Salzburg where we left them to walk around the town
The focus of the city is as being the home of Mozart
A prize to those who noticed the home of Mozart had a Spa on the ground floor !!!
As with Innsbrück the streets were beautiful with loads of up market shops
But for us the treat so far was the Dom Cathedral
More in store over the next few days as we visit the mountains around Salzburg by cable car and visit a number of the museums.
